The 2nd Continuous Hydrogenation Catalysis Technology Industry Exchange Conference (hereinafter referred to as the "Exchange Conference") was successfully held at the Jiegao Innovation Laboratory from December 5th to 7th, 2024. The conference was jointly organized by the Jiegao Innovation Laboratory and Xiamen Jiahydrogen Technology Co., Ltd.
The 2nd Continuous Hydrogenation Catalysis Technology Industry Exchange Conference (hereinafter referred to as the "Exchange Conference") was successfully held at the Jiegao Innovation Laboratory from December 5th to 7th, 2024. The conference was jointly organized by the Jiegao Innovation Laboratory and Xiamen Jiahydrogen Technology Co., Ltd.
More than 200 people from over 100 units, including academicians Zheng Nanfeng and Zhang Xumu, national engineering design master Zhu Huaxing, and representatives from Sinochem International, Fujian Petrochemical Group, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Tianjin University, China Pesticide Industry Association, Shaanxi Coal Group, and many other companies and organizations, gathered together to discuss core technologies in the field of continuous hydrogenation catalysis, cultivate new opportunities for innovation and cooperation, and map out a new blueprint for the development of the fine chemical and new materials industry under the new situation.
The conference was jointly hosted by Xie Tangtang, Assistant Director of Jiegao Innovation Laboratory; Fang Xiaoliang, Executive Dean of Hydrogen Energy Research Institute; Xie Dongquan, Operations Director of Xiamen Jiahydrogen Technology Co., Ltd.; and Yan Qi, Marketing Director of Xiamen Jiahydrogen Technology Co., Ltd..
Conference Opening Remarks
Academician Zheng Nanfeng, director of the Jiegao Laboratory, pointed out in his opening remarks that green, high-end, and intelligent development are important strategic goals for the fine chemical and new materials industry. The development of continuous hydrogenation technology not only helps to promote the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry but is also an important application outlet for green hydrogen consumption. The Jiegao Innovation Laboratory should blaze new trails in promoting the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, continuously explore new systems and mechanisms, and accelerate the industrialization of representative scientific research achievements. Jiahydrogen Technology, as one of the representative enterprises incubated by the Jiegao Laboratory, is oriented towards market demand and adheres to original innovation, exploring a pragmatic and feasible path for the transformation of scientific research achievements.
Liu Shengjie, founder of Xiamen Jiahydrogen Technology Co., Ltd., said in his opening remarks that continuous hydrogenation catalysts are revolutionary technologies for the high-quality development of the trillion-dollar fine chemical and new materials industry and are the "chips" for achieving independent and controllable high-end fine chemicals, new materials, and new energy. The team will persistently develop catalyst technologies and products from 0 to 1, hoping to use this conference platform to build a cooperative ecosystem and work with high-quality enterprises to move towards a broader future.
Signing Ceremony
At the conference, Xiamen Jiahydrogen Technology Co., Ltd., an enterprise incubated by the Jiegao Innovation Laboratory, held strategic cooperation signing ceremonies with Shaanxi Coal Group Research Institute Engineering Institute, Runhe Catalysis, and Oushisheng. Jiahydrogen Technology will carry out strategic cooperation with its partners in the fields of fixed-bed continuous hydrogenation catalysts, process development and pilot-scale expansion, and engineering equipment.
The Jiegao Innovation Laboratory and Beijing Shanggu Lianheng Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. held a signing and unveiling ceremony for the joint construction of the "High-Performance Catalyst Joint R&D Center".

Keynote Speeches
Experts and scholars, including Academician Zhang Xumu, Wang Tiefeng, Yuan Youzhu, Gong Junbo, Wang Genlin, Rong Qingsheng, Hu Chengyi, Chai Wenyu, and Wu Maocheng, delivered nine professional reports to the attendees.
Gule Development Zone, Ningdong Energy Chemical Base, Xiamen Biomedicine Port, and Jingzhou Jiangling New Energy and New Materials Development Zone introduced their unique characteristics and development plans to the audience.
Industry Dialogue
Invited guests held lively discussions on the opportunities, realities, and future of continuous hydrogenation catalysis technology. They brainstormed, shared their industry insights, and jointly offered advice and suggestions for the development of the fine chemical and new materials industry under the new situation.

Platform Visit
After the conference, the participants visited the Jiegao Innovation Laboratory. Simultaneously, tea talks on fine chemical hydrogenation catalysis technology and chemical new material hydrogenation catalysis technology were held in two separate venues.

In the exhibition area, Jiahydrogen Technology provided a comprehensive technical explanation and product demonstration of continuous hydrogenation catalysts. Technical posters and advanced equipment were also showcased to the guests.
Technical Closed-Door Meeting
On the 7th, during the closed-door meeting on hydrogenation catalysis technology demand matching, Jiahydrogen Technology conducted in-depth exchanges with some participants on specific project cooperation and reached cooperation intentions.
